Our Story — Crayon Eater Defense

Crayon Eater Defense started with a simple idea: people deserve professional-quality holsters without having to pay a premium just to get something they can trust.

As a Marine veteran, I believe in doing things the right way, taking pride in your work, and never cutting corners when it matters. That mindset followed me long after my time in the Marine Corps and eventually found its way into my garage, where Crayon Eater Defense first began.

It started small. I was building Kydex holsters for myself, looking for the fit, retention, comfort, and reliability I wanted in my own everyday carry setup. When friends started asking me to make holsters for them, I began putting that same time, effort, and attention to detail into every piece I made. What started as a personal project quickly became something bigger. I realized there were plenty of people out there looking for a dependable, professional-quality holster that didn't come with an outrageous price tag.
